UPDATED: FEB 22, 2004 Some clove, but mostly estery/yeasty sourness in arome. Murky brown. Bready banana taste, a bit too light body. Ok, but not really impressive.

At trinkgut Gülden Bonn/Bad godesberg in Germany, Brown hazy, medium head, smoky, banana, full flavor, with hinds of grapefruit and raisin. nice one.

One of the best Dunkelweizen I have tasted! It’s rich with a very good balance of sweet and sour notes. Long aftertaste with a nice dryness in the end.

Bad beer. no head at all. Watery and artificial. Not complex nor well-balanced.

Murky brown with no head. Terrible sour wheat aroma. Thin and watery. The flavours are very few.

a bit surprised that no-one else liked this. had a sea slat aroma and was darker than most. quite sour - plenty of burnt vanilla and peach nectar
