Very cool bottle... Sparkling clear mahogany lager. Medium-sized, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma and flavor are weak, but not unpleasant. Both contain very light notes of dark fruit, clover honey and caramel. Decently bittered with a well-balanced flavor. Medium-bodied with creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish with a hint of toffee.

Bottle. Brown sugar malt aroma. Orangish dark brown color with small head. Brown sugar and malt flavor wtih a light hops finish. A bit light but fairly typical for the style. Nice.

(special shape swing top bottle with handle) Dark amber colour with a foamy off-white medium head. I´ve suspected this one to be the same as the Winterbier Dunkel, but it is a tad sweeter and has more body. Slightly sweet toastmalty and nutty aroma with a whiff of hops. Bittersweet flavour, medium body, moderate carbonation. Light sweet and breadish malty taste, slightly roasted, dry and light hopbitter finish with a touch of dried fruits (raisins). OK.

Thanks to Degarth for this gem. Pours hazy brown/ruby with little head. The aroma is extremely corn flakey, perhaps even more so than Celebrator. There is also some malt and cinnamon and almond in the aroma, but corn flakes predominate. The flavor is like liquid Wheaties, with some nuts and slight fruit. Smooth palate. This one is a malt bomb.

Good malty aroma and pours with a decent amount of head. Flavor is sweet and well balanced with lightly bittering hops. This is very drinkable and goes down smooth. I also like the bottle.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is medium orange-brown. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted light bread, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery (almost syrupy) texture, lively carbonation. Solid but not a standout.

Quite a stunning flip top bottle honestly and served in my NB worthy glass: A deep russet hue with a fading frothy off-white head and okay lace. The aroma has notes of caramel and nutty malts, some dark bread, a hint of dry apple and anise. The taste pretty much follows suit with sweet bready malt, a hint of fruity twang and some light-handed rye-like spice upon the finish. The mouth feel is soft and smooth, refreshing actually. A good bier and above average for the genre.
