Mmm, Jubelbier. Probably my favorite from Sailer.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2004 Immediately open pop-up this beer open I smelled its wondrous, full aroma. As I and my friend punkeedo partook it was like a German party [Fest] in our mouth with every drink [jeder Schluck]. The flavour is outstanding and the palate intriguingly complicated. I got this beer for right about $4 a bottle - really not that bad considering what you pay for other lesser beers when you go out to trendy places. The commercial description on the bottle is really apt - Every drink a party [Jeder Schluck ein Fest]. Outstanding. Try it.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2004 Nice, subtle aroma--definitely not let down by the taste. Full bodied and satisfying. Two would probably be a perfect number with Juebel. Very cool bottle--worth keeping for the shelf. Strong, as far as alcohol concentration goes, but it's definitely a treat. Excellent beer...highly recommended...***On a second go-round, this beer was still very stout, but the alcohol kick didn't seem as bad. This beer should be drunk at room temperature. I found it more enjoyable, drinking from the bottle, and I actually think it tastes better that way--who knows? Still a great beer that I would recommend.

This brew poured very little head, but it had good lacing on the side of my mug. This beer had carbonation to it. It had a smooth taste with an ever so slight aftertaste. It had a citrusy aroma. To me it had a creamy and smooth mouth feel to it. Some bitterness, but not overwhelming.

Pours an opaque brown with a thick beige head that quickly disapates, leaving a yeasty film. Aroma and flavor are very rich: malty, fruity ... like a caramel apple dipped in brandy or spiced rum perhaps. Sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Solid palate that stops just short of being syrupy. Excellent, robust beer ... a good nightcap. Interesting style ... it’s supposedly a dunkel, but it could almost pass for a barleywine.

Wonderful, mild but pleasing beer. Mostly malty, sweet taste, with the barest hint of hops, and light notes of smoke and chocolate.

Just a great alt! Bittersweet from the munich malt and noble hops. Thick head with a crystal clear orange-brown color.

I bought this labled as a Dopplebock, but I am unable to find a "doppleversion" on with the site. So I will lable it as a Dunkle although this is pretty malty, but could fit into the realm of Dunkle (albeit a far edge) Really nice garnet brown color with a white head that dissapated in about 3 minutes. Aroma wonderful with wafts of malt, and roasted grains. First sip is full of malt and nice touch of hops at the end of the sip. I pick up caramel, slight grain notes along with raisin, however the finish is really clean and smooth. Nice beer and a nice handled bottle (will use for some homebrew...)

(bottled) Dark reddish-brown, brilliantly clear. Toasty malt aroma. Nutty, toasted sweet malt flavor with medium bitterness in a moderately big-bodied, lightly carbonated beer. Lingering sweetness with a decidedly strong malt flavor dominating the finish.
