3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On the light side of the scale, this beer from the source looks yellow, a little thin in the edges, as it pours. The body fills in a bit as it fills the glass, though it leans lighter with a yellow hue in what finally reveals itself as a pale orange body. The head, off-white, is soft but rises to nearly a finger. Retention is pretty good, and the lace left is mostly spotty with a little patching accompanying.
While clean, the aroma's fairly light, but it's not exactly weak. It is a little fainter than it should be. Along with fruitiness, caramel and biscuit dough, there's a slight grainy astringency, but it's not too strong.
Sturdy malts offer the traditional mix of toast and caramel as well as fruiter type of sweetness. Slightly spicy with a bit of leaf, and a touch herbal as well, the hops definitely seem to be German.
The body is light to medium, certainly lighter than Americanized bersions, but with biting crispness and steady carbonation all the way.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden-cloudy, white head and minor lacing. Citrus, lemon, and mildly floral aroma. Medium bodied, lemony, citrus, medium bitterness, mild dry zing. More pilsner like than Marzen.

2 Litre swingtop. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of some floral hints, some lemon, dry malt. Tastes minerally with some light noble hop presence on the finish. Light, drinkable lager that borders on a pale lager.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft - pale golden color, thin but persistent head, refreshing smell with only faint hints of grain and malt, drinks smoothly, with only slight aftertaste of lingering grain flavors pasted across the tongue. Decent representative of style, but not outstanding.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
a pitiful example of the style, basically the bud light of oktoberfests. thin, watery, flavorless, practically clear. not a surprise the image for it is in a clear plastic cup.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2 liter bottle from BevMo: Liquid was a golden straw blonde with dense carbonation bubbles rising to the top and created a fluffy pillow of foam head. Aroma is faint with grained malts with a whiff of honey and Euro style hops. The festbier drinks semi sweet with grainy malted barley and a soft touch of the hops but it somewhat boring even though it’s a nice session beer to quaff down while watching the 2012 World Series.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap Epcot Center Germany. Pours a deep golden color with a thick dense white head that lasts. Aroma has a malt character with lots of nutty notes as well as whole grain toast and caramel. Taste is light buscuity toastiness, some caramel, sweet and spicy notes. Medium carbonation, medium body, with a smooth yet creamy texture.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled on tap at the Germany Pavilion at Epcot. Poured a light amber color and definitely much lighter that I am send to for an Oktoberfest. It was not an offensive drink in anyway though and actually quite refreshing on a hot Florida afternoon.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampled on draft at Germany in Epcot this beer poured a bright golden-yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint caramel, yeast and a touch of vague fruits. The flavor was tangy and sweetish with notes of pepper, bread dough and faint vague fruits. Medium length tangy bread dough finish. Light to medium body. Meh.
