2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can't be sure I have rated the right beer here as some of the other ratings seem to be all over the place. Anyhow I didn't think very much of it. Too malty, sweet, flat and not much else.

True amber color with a thin head. Caramel aroma and sweet caramel flavors predominate. Good amber lager.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Nothing to get excited about when it pours; Pale golden, some cloudiness, no head.
Smells like stereotypical "beer" with a extra kick.
Nothing in the taste to make me dance the happy dance, that's for damn sure. But it's not bad... Has a bit of a pepper flavor.
Very watery aftertaste, which I suppose is good considering I've had some beers with an awful aftertaste.
Drinkable, but why bother?

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2006 Not quite hoppy enough to be a Pils, though probably just too hoppy and not malty enough to be a Helles. Anyway it was still nice - honeyish malt aroma, herbal hoppiness and very clean. Pretty standard German offering but that’s still better than most. Slight haze which is really unforgivable in such a beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is corn and some malt. Essentially nothing spectacular. Flavor is corn, some carbonation, but also entirely unoffensive. I could pound several of these. Not bad overall. Very smooth. Just not exceptional.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Got this in a 1pint flip-top bottle says "bavarian speciality" on the label'.
Well the appearance is nice but not unusual for a lager nice head deep yellow coloured beer.
I liked the aroma of this beer,..very malty with a barley scent to ( ive been in a whisky distillery and this smelt like the malted barley stage)...liked it a lot.
Nice dry malty taste though less than I had expected given the aroma..nice crisp on the palate.
Feels good and smooth in the mouth leaving some small hoppy after taste on back of tongue..good.
Nice drinkable lager beer..would have again.

2.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Light amber color with plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Strong alcohol smell with a light bubbly palate. Average beer that would would be refreshing on a hot summer day but not otherwise.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Smooth start, light crispness in the middle, with a lightly sweet, bubble gum finish. Appearance a bit murky, light head.
Overall, an excellent choice...very enjoyable.
