+/- schuim is snel weg. Soort coca cola schuim.
+ lekkere geur. Iets van nootjes.
1ste smaak - bitter , 2de smaak - malt nootjes , 3de smaak - weer bitter maar - iets zachter. Smaak word in mond na een tijdje weer bitter.
Dit bier bevalt me niet. Je verwacht iets zoets maar krijgt iets bitters. Vind dit geen winterbier.

08.02.2013. 0,5l Swing top bottle. Dark golden colour with white head. Aroma is malty with dark malts and medium bitterness. Sweet with notes of caramel and toffee. Medium body with malty sweet aftertaste. Medium bitterness with a sweet soft malty finish.

Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival Gouda 2013. Clear brownish color, small to medium sized off-white head that leaves fair to good lacing. Smell malts, leaves, slightly caramel. Taste malts, lightly caramel, some butter and leaves again with just a slight touch of bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Bottle BBE 05/13 03/02/13. Pours ruby red with a large, beige, classy head. Aroma is mixed fruits, caramel, light marzipan. Taste is fairly dry with breadiness, some caramel. Herbal hops coming surprisingly strong on the finish. Palate is medium, not much carbonation. Very enjoyable. A go-to beer for the style if available.

Poured a medium brown with a frothy white head. Aroma of roast caramel malt. Medium body, roast malt flavour with coffee undertones.

From a tegut in Marburg. Dark brown, clear. Dry malty, light aroma, vague dogfood. Sweetish malty, vaguely roasty taste, not much else, vague caramel. Drinkable, ok.
