Bottle @ Odense Tasting Januar, 2012. Pours clear amber with a small creamy head an lacings. Grain, caramel and buiscuit. Medium bodied. A bit sweet. Decent.

Odense New Year tasting. Chestnut colour with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with a bit of biscuit and a vegetable DMS note. Sweet malty flavour with DMS and a slightly hoppy finish

Chestnut brown color with a fine head. a little boring, but nice dark flavor.

Dark toffee colored pour. Slight head - off -white to khaki. Malty aroma with a touch of sourness. Taste is roasty and malty. Sweet, medium-bodied. Slight bitterness in the back. Not bad.

Bottle from Galeria Kaufhof, Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Dark bronze body, medium off-white head. Nose is grain, wort, caramel and dark malts. Taste is caramel, nuts, grains and hints of marzipan and dark malts. Medium-to-high carbonation. Some dry hops in the finish. A bit sweet, but nevertheless a solid German dunkel.

Aroma: Malt and caramel, some sweetness.

500 ml flip-top bottle picked up at Wasanas in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Pours a brown color with a beige head. The taste is a sweet malty body with a pleasant and balanced bitterness. Palate ends a little thin.

Swing-top bottle by 03.12. Sweet caramel nose. Ruby-chestnut pour with a fizzy tan head. Taste is sweet with low bitterness, has a rich caramel and toffee profile with pleasant nuttiness and more than a handful of Maillard graduates. Juicy light body is very malty, has earth tones and enough hops for balance. Touch of sour roast. There’s a bit of a stale note keeping it from getting a quality rating of "süffig", but there’s a lot to like here.
