(Draught at the brewpub on 2008-02-07) Cloudy, red and brown in colour. Some banana in nose. Big head which doesn’t last long. Hops and banana in taste. Some pine-like flavour in taste, too.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange with a creamy and white head. Light buterish and wheaty aroma. Mild estery fruity flavour with once again a solid butterish note. Mild bitterness and bread like flavours showing through. Light fruity finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange, medium off-white head. Earthy, dusty apple cider aroma, with some estery and phenolic notes in the background, alogn with some butterscotch. Moussy mouthfeel, ok balance with some ssweetness and a dry finish.

Cloudy orange to amber color, white head. Spicy, sweet, estery banana taste. Long spicy and banana aftertaste. Sweet, spicy and banana scent. Medium to smooth nice mouthfeel. A dry earthy and wood tone as well.

Comments: Another rather mellow Berlin weizen with little cloves at all, but a direct wheat focus and limited sweetness. Above average berlin hefeweizen, but there are a few hundred better ones out there.
