Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Amber brown brew with lots of tan head. Aroma is sweet with dark fruit and some spicy Belgian yeast. Flavor is slightly tart with more dark fruit and lots of alcoholic heat.

sebletitje (4384) - Enghien, BELGIUM - FEB 5, 2012
Bottle sample @ 5de Brugs Bier festival.

77ships (957) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - FEB 5, 2012
33 cl. bottle sampled @ Bruges Beer Festival 2012: murky brown amber with a tanned head, smell is sweet, Belgian malts, sweet spices, mocha, dark fruits, taste is mainly lots of Belgian malts & spices, sweet on both sides, coupled with hint of instant cocoa powder, dark fruits, Belgian yeast, small hints of caramel plus Belgian yeast, mainly Belgian malts & spices, standard body – impy stout? BSDA – not getting any stout here…

Bottle, bought @ Alvinne Beershop.
Serious gusher! Pours deep brown with a giant, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has metallic notes from carbonation, chocolate, prunes, some banana, a bit yeasty. Highish carbonation, creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of chocolate, light milky, some raisins and prunes. A hint of cold coffee and mild bitterness. Shame about the excessive carbonation.

#2, bottle, slight gusher. amber brown with reddish hues, porous ceam head. quickly fading large head. aroma smells like malted milk balls ie. whoppers, chocolate notes. chocolate flavor immediately, fizzy mouthfeel throughout, finishes somewhat sour, aroma was a bit misleading. surprised flavor is unlike aroma.

13/11/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: sept/2011 (2011-640)

Note: GUSHER WARNING, that was not funny. More than half of the bottle was sprayed across my living room.

Clear dark purple brown beer, big beige aery head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: caramel, dried fruits, little dusty, wood, small hint of mocha, some rotten fruits. MF: too much carbon (duh), full body. Taste: citrus, brown sugar, mocha, roasted malts, bitter hops, spices. Aftertaste: dark chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, slight hop bitterness. Not bad, but I wouldn’t call it a stout, let alone an imperial one.
