Looks ..very dark brown, slight dark red tinge, big gusher on opening. Smells..red wine tannins, some boozy raspberry, some dark malts Tastes.. A dark Belgian ale, with hefty malts, though dominated by a raspberry and red wine, loads of oak barrel, boozy, medium roasted malts, quite a woody finish. Great!

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at One Pint Pub, 20150516) The beer poured dark reddish brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and lightly reddish brown. Aroma had wood, vanilla, berries and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and warming with fizzy carbonation. Flavours were malts, berries, wood, vanilla, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness, berries and bitterness. A very fizzy and warming oud bruin. Palate wasn’t the best possible.

Clear brown colour, light beige head. Aroma of coffee, red fruits, light paint thinner, vinegar. Sour flavour, vinegar, citric acid, sour coffee, red berries. Sour finish, coffee, red berries, paint thinner and vinegar.

Bottle @benzai with dutchdrebus. Brown color with no head. Smells sour, alcohol, vinnegar, paint, bit fruity, glue. BAH!

500 ml. bottle sampled @ Barley Legal Tasting Room. Procured from Hopduvel. GUSHER. Pours dark brown with a tanned head that fills the whole glass & instantly overflows. Huge red wine everywhere, tannic & red grape wine everywhere, quite sour, roasted oak, lactic somewhere in the back, lots of glue, light paint chemicals, very high carb. Responses were unanimously negative but I did quite like it.

Thnx to ships , gushes . Pours dark , murky brown under a huge white head . Smell is fleshy , sour , very fruity . Taste is intense sour , glue , oak . Way to much carbo . Overpowering glue taste . Not for me

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Gusher. Brown color with a red glare coming through, quickly diminishing tan head. Smell glue and paint. Taste lightly malts, a bit sourish, sharp, quite harsh. Infected? Fizzy carbonation, medium body. No, don’t like it at all.

Pour @BBF 02/2014, ZO (M). Pours a murky, flat dark pink, giving off little aroma considering its potential 10% fumicity. Basically Gouden Band as seen through a heavy Alvinne monoprism of sour vinosity, i.e. minus the typical Oud Bruin wood complexity, and ironically enhancing drinkability - indeed, for a sour at 10% no small feat.
