Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a large, foamy white head over a hazy orange body. Aroma of styrofoam, orange, banana esters, yeast and honey. Taste is very fruity with sticky caramel blended with oranges. Light bubbles. Water like mouthfeel.

11.2 oz bottle. It pours a golden/amber, not too dark. The head is huge, white, and active and lasts for awhile before leaving thick lacing. The smell is decent, though a bit thin. There is some yeasty goodness and fruitiness in there. There is an underlying stale breadcrust scent. Wow, this one tastes interesting. I don’t know if there is an infection here or if it should be a sour ale. If it is a sour ale, it is a tad bit blunt. It has a big acidic bite. It isn’t necessarily as sour as it is acidic. It has a strong lactose flavor. There is also some lemon. I don’t think this is supposed to taste like this, the website says something totally different for the description. Alas, reading some other reviews it is also sour on top, so I don’t know what to say. Interesting but not perfect. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 05-21-2010 00:34:45

Strong apple nose, hot, with banana overtones. Opaque amber, thin head despite an aggressive pour, abundant carbonation from the botom of the glass. Dry and weak in the foreground but moderate apple and whole orange notes emerge. Clover present. Alcohol is a little insistent. I’m becoming aware of a "house flavor" from this brewer.

Pours a dark yellow with a huge and form fitting white head that dissipates quickly. The drink is mostly sweet and spicy with a bit of clove and bannana. All of the flavors are interesting on their own but some how don’t come together in quite a coherent pattern. Fruity, slightly earthy yeast aroma.

Pours a cascading yellow with a bubbly foam head. Aroma of heavy yeast and alcohol. Taste is banana, clove, spice, alcohol and yeast. Flavors are a little dry and don’t really blend together as nicely as some of the higher quality belgium ales.
