Bottle, 33 cl. Amber to golden coloured beer, some yeast swimming around beautifully. Big beige head. Strong and nice smell of malts and fruits, combined with some sweetness and fresh hops. Taste is fruity and malty with a strong hoppy touch on your tongue. Malty background, hoppy foreground and the finish is bitter. Tasty beer!

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from the Alvinne Proefzolder. Opens slightly gushing. Pours oversaturated murky orange, huge foamy beige head. Nose had something unpleasant sulfuric (from ’t putjen) but that faded away after a while. Aroma mainly malty, caramel, a bit of chocolate. Some sour flavor in it, lots of yeast. Had a hard time finishing this, thus a pour drain.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
25/09/2010 - 33cl @ Karakterbierfestival Bissegem
Pours a little cloudy amber coloured head, adhesive white head with fine lacing. Aroma is fruity with caramel and a hint of passion fruits. MF is sparkling, with a medium body. Taste is freshly sour, fruity, some caramel and roasted malts. Aftertaste is sour with roasted malts, citrus and some hops. One of my favorites at the festival! (come to thing of it, why did I buy other bottles from Alternatief and not this one? tssss...)
