COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich and creamy, 7200’ Stout is an extra dark ale with flavors of chocolate and coffee. We use a nitrogen gas mix for a smoother pour.

Dark, almost black pour into a pint glass with a 3/4 inch brown head. Looks beautiful. It feels like drinking a good cappuccino when your lip is enveloped by the foam and then the actual liquid touches your mouth. The feeling is great. It tastes like darkness, burnt malt. The nitro softens it. Slight coco, a hint of hops and good malts, but not sweet. My first thought was "Imperial Stout" in the best way. A really good stout. A head of 1/8 inch lasted to the end. Don’t expect the chocolate and coffee notes that it;s advertised for to be strong. This is good though. It is a great tasting Imperial Stout. I just noticed that on BA it is listed as an "American Stout" but it tastes more like an "Imperial Stout" and that’s what the brewery lists it as too.

Sampled at the brewery. The aroma is dark, bitter, chocolate. The roasted malts dominate the flavor with roast and chocolate. There are also notes of caramel, burnt sugar. The sweetness of this beer balanced nicely with the dark roasted malts.

On nitro tap at the brewery. Pours black with a tan head and nice lacing. Aroma and flavor is alcohol, coffee, chocolate, roasted/burnt malts, light smoke, and light spices. Very little hop bitterness with a creamy feel and a lingering, semi-dry finish.

Tap @ Altitude Laramie. Pours a black appearance with a very dark brown head. Anise, roasty dark chocolate, a touch smoky, a touch fruity aroma. Burnt chocolate, dark fruity, fig, somewhat smoky flavor. A bit thin but not too bad.

On nitro tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick tan nitro head. Aroma of lots of roast, chocolate, and charred malt. Flavor of tons of chocolate, roasted malt, pretzel, and milk and roasted chocolate in the finish. Chalky texture and smooth. Pretty good stout. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]

On tap in Laramie. Impressive place for the town. Dark brown/black in color. ARoma wasn’t my favorite, but it was not that bad; coffee, roasted and cocoa. Flavor was much better; roasted malt, earth, with some meatiness and caramel/cocoa.
