COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich and creamy, 7200’ Stout is an extra dark ale with flavors of chocolate and coffee. We use a nitrogen gas mix for a smoother pour.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2009 Draught at WBF. Poured a dark brown with a medium sized brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, and unsweetened chocolate. Flavor was similar to the aroma... Malt, chocolate, with a very slight hint of coffee. Not bad, but a little thin.

On nitro tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick tan nitro head. Aroma of lots of roast, chocolate, and charred malt. Flavor of tons of chocolate, roasted malt, pretzel, and milk and roasted chocolate in the finish. Chalky texture and smooth. Pretty good stout. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]

From the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 11/10/2007 Creamy roast aroma. Black smooth on the palate and strong in alcohol with a bitter lasting coffee roast finish.

On tap in Laramie. Impressive place for the town. Dark brown/black in color. ARoma wasn’t my favorite, but it was not that bad; coffee, roasted and cocoa. Flavor was much better; roasted malt, earth, with some meatiness and caramel/cocoa.

Tasted at GABF 2008. Dark pour. Roasted malts, hops and coffee. Flavor is the same...a bit thin and watery.

Sampler @ brewery - Hops come out in the nose before the roast, which I was a little taken a back by. From the nose, if I was judging by that alone I would say this was a weak stout, and the flavor is slightly lacking, but maltier than I expected. Not overly complex and slightly one sided, with a somewhat sour, bitter finish.

5 oz Sampler @ Brewery. Notes: mild burnt roast, creamy body, good hop bite...decent stout. After thought: I remember this being a bit thin and as much as I enjoyed the burnt flavor, it was a bit over done. Decent, but wouldn’t be heartbroken over skipping.

Sampled at GABF. Pours black with a thin off white head. Mild roasted aroma is hidden. Somewhat thin, but has a solid roasted backbone taste. Slightly milk sour finish.

on nitro-pours a creamy tan head that laces and black color. Aroma is coffee-dark malt. Taste is coffee/chocolate-dark malt, acidic (too much)/bitter. Not my taste. Mild/minimum carbonation, on nitro-carbonation follows.
