This would be the same effect is you were to take a Corona, or better yet a Pacifico, because the malt profile here is a little sweeter and added a pepper to the beer in place of the lime. Might have been better with food, or something sweet to take away some of the spice. Yikes.

Mobile rating at the brewery so it’s short. Hazed amber honey colored body. Nose is wet sugared smoke, burnt nuts, honey malt and very distinct smoked jalapenos. Flavor is very similar with a biting rough burn of chile peppers, but more like the leftovers in the jar of pickled jalapeños than the actual meaty pulp of real peppers. Still a pretty good beer for a chile head.

Golden with amberish highlights giving the beer an odd color, but then again there was not much light at the bar to begin with. This was surpsingsly easy to drink, with a malt but zesty spicy nose. The flavor is inherently mild and screams to be drank with food. NIcely spicy with a bit of heat coming through in the finish.
