500 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Is a deep golden color with a thin short lasting white head and no lace. Aroma is a strong malt/soap that is overpowering at first. Taste weak and underpowered. Palate is waek and soft. This beer is non-offensive but has not outstand features.

Bottle. Poured with a big head and initial impression was of sweetness. This continued and finished with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Some strange saltiness but overall quite pleasant.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a short frothy white layer. Light-sweet and a bit yeasty malt aroma with a grainy and slightly musty touch; accompanied by traces of honey. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Slightly grainy malt-accented taste; almost dry malty finish with shy notes of bitter hops. Mediocre Märzen (05.09.07).

Swing top bottle. Golden color, no head, a slight haziness. Flowers and rancid butter in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with butter and flowery hops. Diacetyl ruins the aroma, but not the flavor, which is quite pleasant.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden colored, a bit hazy, rather quickly diminishing white head; sweet honeyish grainy nose, moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; influences of bittering hops in the honeyish-malty finish. Neither good nor bad.......

Bottle. Bought @ Fleggaard, Süderlügum. Slightly bubbly paleish yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty sweet, some grass, hay and caramel. Low carbonation. Flavour is sweet, a clear grainyness and a good dose of peppery bitterness to finish the beer of dry. A little dull, though.

Bottle. Hazy gold colour with a slim white head. Sweet malty aroma. Same for the taste with some caramel. Light mouthfeel, a bit watery in the finish, softly carbonated. Slightly above average, drinkable, simple stuff.
