Bottle. Sweet fruity malt and aromatic hop aroma. Dark golden, failing head. Solid wellmalted, yet slippery body, well-balanced, too slick - needs a hook to hang the flavor on. Falls in the refreshing category.

500 ml flip-top bottle picked up in Germany and had at home. Pours a clear gold-yellow color with a nice normal head. Aroma is sour malt mash. Taste is rather different for a Helles. It is not as sweet as a normal Helles and has thr flavor of straw and wheat. Palate is smooth but there is something odd with this beer. It is good but there is something with it.

Wässriger Antrunk, etwas Spülwasser-mäßig. Minimal malzern. Weiter wässrig, hinten herum etwas herb, dann bitter. Nicht gut! Test vom 15.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,5,5,4,8,5 - 5,00

Bottle from Fleggaard, Süderlügum. Pours a slightly orange golden with a small foamy white head. Typical pilsner aroma, a touch of malts and a good dose of citric bitterness and bread. Good, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet malty at first, then turns lightly bitter. A little metallic. Nothing special.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, hazy, small lacing head; sweetish-bready-fruity nose with a faint tinge of "barrique"; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; sweetish, a bit tart and fruity finish. Drinkable, but not really impressive..............

Swing top bottle. Golden color. Buttery, malty sweet aroma and flavor. Werthers original. Medium bodied. Some vegetable hoppy notes.

(swing top bottle, traded with joss) Slightly hazy, yellow colour with a short foamy white layer. Dusty, slightly sweet malty and shy sour-fruity aroma with wet hay. Light-sweet flavour, light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Grainy, cereal-like taste, slightly worty with fruity notes; short and a bit flat finish, slightly yeasty and bitter. Rather disappointing towards the end.

Huge yellowish head over chromate to golden beer, well-carbonated. Very spicey-citrus and herbal nose, nearly as a Belgian blonde! Very surprising aromas. Though the taste is more determined by classical notes (German hops, "herb", some grass), there are again hints at citrus and spices. A bit buttery in the finish. Light bodied, not empty. Slickness as of a wheatbeer. A totally surprising nose. Rest is way more middle-of-the-road. Decent Pilsener. Thanks, Jonas!
