Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2011
Langweilig. Test vom 25.4.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,5,6,5,8,6 - 5,90

Grima (1572) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 21, 2010
500ml swing-top bottle! The beer in glass is orange, very cloudy wheat, with many large yeast particles inside. The wheat is crowned by a magnificent, fine-pored foam! Smells wonderful yeasty spicy, a little clove. It is a bit sour over what the drinkability but causes no damage. Very tasty and sweet, tangy wheat!

Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - AUG 20, 2010
500 ML flip-top bottle in Germany. A fairly standard hazy yellow and large white lacy head start off this brew. A nice nose, with strong yeast/wheat elements with citrus and some spice, as well. Flavor is pretty mild, and it’s a pretty nice, easy drinking Hefe. It does lack real depth of character, which would make is superior, but it’s still a great Hefe brew.

Swing-top bottle. Sweet banana, lemon peel, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow-orange color with large head. Lightly sweet lemon peel, coriander, clove, and wheat malt flavor. NIce beer - more like a witbier than a typical Hefe.

yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 22, 2009
Bottle. A slightly hazy, yellow-golden beer with a too small head for a hefe-weizen. Banana and some citrus on the nose. Wheat as well, but low on cloves. Fruity flavor with some banana and lemon, some bitterness and spice showing up towards the finish which is slightly sour too. Medium body, effervescent. A decent one, but not of the best hefe-weizens. 090822
