Draft at the brewpub. This comes across as just a bit thin. There’s a hint of caramel and toffee, but generally this is not as characterful as the other two we tried. Certainly easy to drink, but I choose the others. (#4381, 11/30/2011)

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2008 Dark red colored with cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Sweet and caramelly aroma with same slight hoppy yeasty note. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor also starts with caramel and slight chocolate even. Aftertaste turns to dry with still some chocolate. Bland aroma, good flavor.

1 liter flip-top bottle taked away, tasted at home. Red-copper body with a light-tan creamy head. Sourish yeastly aroma with some caramel and a light roasted fruity(lichi) perfume. Sourish taste with a light acidic mouthfeel of citruses, sweet caramel malt, light roasted taste, some chocolate and.. Minimal hop. Not the best of the brewey, but drinkable. i don’t know why this acidic taste is in the beer...Attack of the acetobacter?

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2009 A hard class for beer. A good beer not the best here but still a good one. I think if you come here give this one to your wife and test the other beers.

Draught@brewpub. Color red with big redish head. Aroma fruits. Taste fruit, light caramel.

Draught at the brewpub. This poured a lovely, superb misty amber-red body, with an off white-tan head. The nose is immediately a small letdown though. Soft & malty, with very light notes of hard candy. The taste is unfortunately as I expected it after that... empty. Somewhat sweet, soft. with very light soapy/herbal notes. Ordinary.

Dark red body with a small white head. Aroma of cherries. Very strange, sweety taste. Taste is like diacetyl, reminds somehow of a brown ale.

Draught@brewpub. Ambery colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some grass, mild saltwatery notes as well as mild diacetylic toffee. Flavour is quite much the same. A quite pleasant vienna, though the saltwatery notes are not the best.

0.2 l draught @ Altstadthof, Nürnberg (part of the beer tasting palette). Nice dark red colour, but the taste is not as interesting as the looks. At least when you taste it with the other beers of the same brewery, this seems to lack something. Still very easy to drink and hides the alcohol nicely.
