2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 15.01.2014, 0,375l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Small slightly brown bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is extremely oxidized, butterscotch, baby lotion, caramel, chocolate, dark malts, dark sugar. Taste is kind of sour-ish, almost like stomach acid, sorrel, dark malts, citrus peel, grass, sour coffee, oak, hay. Medium kind of medical bitterness. Just weird, but kind of interesting.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet and perfumey. Oaky and dark dried fruits. Leathery taste with tar and a sour twang. Strange, at best. Not entirely bad tho, interesting.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a pitch black body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is licorice, coffee, caramel, some weird soapy lotion-like tones and hints of butterscotch and brown sugar. Taste is overripe raisins, sour oaky tones, stomach acid, jasmin rice and hints of sour coffee and rubber. Infected? Perhaps, but it works in a strange way. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Weird, but not only in a bad way. At least, its pretty interesting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
My favorite bottle format, 37.5cl wide mouth thick green glass, bottle is bottle filled right to the cap. It pours out with deep darkness and supporting a nice looking half inch tall mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up blueberry, plums and earthy toffee with just a semblance of dark roasted malts off in the background. The taste has a soured red wine note mixing with pleasing dark roasted malts, toffee and a mild degree of sweet dark fruity esters. If you take out the sourness this would be pretty darn nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
11th February 2012
Opaque black beer, tidy tan head. Palate has body and is softish. Mild carbonation on the back end. Pretty sour dark malt with a trace of bubblegum. Tangy dark fruits. Touch of hop bitterness. Finishes semi dry with lingering sourness. Interesting beer! Nice dark sour!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle from Bierkompass!
The beer is pitch black in the glass with flat, off-white creamy head. It smells intense malty-roasty, with lots of coffee and chocolate. Starts with sour malt notes, very roasty, with a flat carbonation. The middle part is malty and sour, slightly yeasty, some brett in the background, with a lot of roasted malt and some chocolate. Goes into a very sour malty finish with some slight coffee and chocolate notes!
