Muddy pour. Lots of spices in the smell and taste as well. A bit of chocolate and liquorice. Too much spice for me to really enjoy, but a fun experience.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mile (1222) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 18, 2010
Bottle. Dark brown, small fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma with spices (coriander, pepper). Body is medium, malty and sweetish, quite spicy, some licorice. Finish is average, malty, dryish and spicy. Considering that body is only medium this is too spicy – almost medicinal.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 gnoff (4830) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2010
33 cl bottle thanks to ekstedt! On November 17, 2010 Gushing, so started out with suspicions of infection. Hazy dark brown color, fizzy tan head. The micro bubbles in the head also leans towards an infected beer. Acidic, yoghurt and alcohol scent. Not to a very pleasant side, but not overly disgusting either. Very spritzy mouthfeel that grows and grows for what seems like forever. Acidic taste, not very good, also alcohol. Lost interest for any more sips. Either this is a bad beer, it’s infected, or it’s simply not for someone like me. Low bitterness with warming alcohol.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 ekstedt (3625) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2010
Gushing bottle (33 cl) from Etre Gourmet. Clear copper with soapy beige head. Sticky spicy aroma, sourish. Thin and fizzy. Sour and unpleasant. Clearly infected, but I doubt I would have liked it much anyway.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 marcus (3776) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 16, 2010
Bottle from City Beer. Pours dark brown with a massive beige head and a treacle and spice aroma. There is a thick smoked malt flavor with some severe spicing, especially cardamom and ginger. It’s an unusual brew, appropriate for a holiday drink.

Pour is a dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is pretty good with lots of spice, molasses and dark fruit. Flavor is a different story. Starts out overly sweet then follows with a little sourness and ends with some butterscotch. Deffinalty different but this really doesn’t work in the end. To many things going on.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Nnudd (69) - Helsinge, DENMARK - SEP 26, 2010
Bottel@home - witch almost emptied itselves when opening it. Pours dark brown and hazy (maybe from the yeast) with a gigantic huge off white head. Aroma with notes of ginger, yeast and herbs, and some sourness. Taste of coriander, ginger, yeast as well as some sourness. I also sences the same cooling feeling as when you eat menthol. The mouthfell is medium body, slightly oily with a very lively carbonation. all in all a nice belgian brew.
