Dark brown pour with a nose full of earthy malt and spices. Flavor is sour and spicy with tons of coriander and ginger. Overly spiced for my taste. Could’ve used a bit more subtlety. Not bad for a novelty, but probably won’t seek this one out again.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting ligh brown head. Hazy very dark red / brown body. Kind of soapy aroma. Ginger dominated flavor with coriander. Pretty odd.

Bottle thx to ekstedt, gushing - might be infected! cons 2010-11-17 Göteborg
AR: vomit, some strong fruity aroma, chemical raspberries, sour kriek, vanilla
AP: hazy brown, high light purpel, wee bubbly/fizzy infected head
F: sour rhubbarb, ginger spiceyness, vomit, kriek - quite interesting, is it a rhubarb geuze or is it infected? A
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 austone (1062) - Turku; Pori, FINLAND - FEB 19, 2010
33cl gusher, thanks TBone! Dark opaque brown, firm beige head leaving tight lacing. Nose has citric acid, minty toothpaste, little earthy yeast, candi sugar and faint cocoa. Flavor is pretty tart, same lemon all over, hints vinegar, herbal and earthy yeast mellowing things out a bit, some soothing darker maltiness coming through also. Finishes with minimal bitterness and some iron, reminiscing of Karhu actually. Medium bodied, a tad sticky palate but smooth palate, Pretty much the same flaws found here as in Podge, I hate that lemoney tartness.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 gnoff (5001) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2010
33 cl bottle thanks to ekstedt! On November 17, 2010 Gushing, so started out with suspicions of infection. Hazy dark brown color, fizzy tan head. The micro bubbles in the head also leans towards an infected beer. Acidic, yoghurt and alcohol scent. Not to a very pleasant side, but not overly disgusting either. Very spritzy mouthfeel that grows and grows for what seems like forever. Acidic taste, not very good, also alcohol. Lost interest for any more sips. Either this is a bad beer, it’s infected, or it’s simply not for someone like me. Low bitterness with warming alcohol.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 77ships (957) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 22, 2011
bottle@Kulminator: dark mahogany, big beige Alvinne head, sickly sweet, medicinal, liquorice, toffee, churned caramel malts, rotting leaves, fermenting dark fruits, all kinds of revolting spices, old cellars, tastes like it went bad during the brewing process, bit of an abortion, not sure why they released this, still doesn’t taste infected or at least not badly

Gushing bottle (33 cl) from Etre Gourmet. Clear copper with soapy beige head. Sticky spicy aroma, sourish. Thin and fizzy. Sour and unpleasant. Clearly infected, but I doubt I would have liked it much anyway.
