Bottel@home - witch almost emptied itselves when opening it. Pours dark brown and hazy (maybe from the yeast) with a gigantic huge off white head. Aroma with notes of ginger, yeast and herbs, and some sourness. Taste of coriander, ginger, yeast as well as some sourness. I also sences the same cooling feeling as when you eat menthol. The mouthfell is medium body, slightly oily with a very lively carbonation. all in all a nice belgian brew.

Geen voor te herinneren, is niet slecht, maar er is niets in de smaak waarvoor ik het nog eens zou kopen

One of Alvinne’s three Epiphany beers, this one made with four grains and three spices. Yellowish beige, creamy, thick foam (even some gushing when opening the bottle), quickly diminishing; colour a dark ruby brown with a wine-red glow, misty. Aroma of rich malts (chocolate and caramel), pear, plums, dates, bananas, old ’graanjenever’, cloves, coriander, cardamom, port wine, cinnamon; deep and rich multi-layered malt taste, sweetish with obvious spices (predominantly coriander), liqueurish finish with a light toasted bitterness reminiscent of a Scotch beer.

Stubby bottle from Party Source. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have some sweet malts, ample herbs and spices, coriander, mildly tart ginger, wood. Interesting, but not something that I would seek out again.

Lots of spices in the smell and taste as well. A bit of chocolate and liquorice. Too much spice for me to really enjoy, but a fun experience.

From my backlog Dark coppery colour with an off-white head with medium lasting and nice lacing. aroma has notes of barrel, red fruits and slightly sourish. Flavor has a moderate sourness, vinous hints, wood and slightly red fruits, mainly berries. Sourish final with hints of wood.

Tap at Bar Animal. Complex nose: bergamotte, bubblegum, lactic, horse blanket notes? Dark brown, big golden head. Roast, wood, lemon, bubblegum and berries, dry bretty notes, mint. Dry medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Leather and chocolate finish. Unusual, especially the bubblegum notes ( I guess from the spices?) but really well balanced and pleasant to drink

Draft at Beer temple. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of tart dark fruits, overripe fruits, caramel, light Brett funk and sweet malt. Flavour is over moderate sweet, moderate bitter and light to moderate acidic. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a dark brown with a reddish hue and a thin off white head. The aroma is acid citrus light sour. The flavour is medium sour light sweet with a rich dark malt fruity palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Really liked this. There was lots of flavour but nothing was overdone.
