Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dark dried berries, brown sugar - candy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100924]

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a huge lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, caramel, and nuts, leading to a bitter alcoholic finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy to dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is vegetable and dark roasted malt. Vegetable, caramelish and alcohol. Alcohol, phenols, dark malt and caramelish. Phenolic and dark malty finish. Sweet and caramelish finish. Warming alcohol.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy dark brown with a beige head. Another slow but massive gusher from Alvinne! Lovely sweet aroma of overripe fruit and wood. Medium body, great initial flavours of plums and overripe fruit - kinda Quad-like - but later on comes some plastic and rubbery notes. Quite some hops in here. Warming alcohol finish. A bit messy but lots of good things in there. 180311

Sweet aroma of caramel, berris and fruits with roasted notes and notes of dried fruits.
Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits, yeast and hops.
Sweet finish.

Bottle at Borefts Bier Festival 2010. Cloudy red/brown - white head. High sweetness, bisquit, light roasted, light smokey, licorice notes, light herbal, yeasty, light off, a bit messy. Wierd.

At Borefts BF 2010. FRuity ESB style beer. English yeast on this? Biscuit. Fruity English ESB aroma. Doesn’t taste of 14% ABV at all. Full in mouth, not syrupy though, with jammy fruit. Biscuit and fruit works really well. Very impressive. Davey says needs age, but impressive now. Strawberry jam and biscuit is what I took away from this.

Hazy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, and toffee. Flavor had toffee, roasted malt, bubble gum and caramel. Finished ver sweet.
