3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Very dark hazy copper pour with a lasting tuff of beige foam. Sweet dark rotted apples. Playful dark malts. Syrupy brown fruit. Prunes. Figs. Pecans. Molasses. Dark chocolate caramels. Bing cherry cordials. Sparks of smoke and sour. Flavors are complex but run a bit thin (could be an old keg). Quite interesting.

Keg @ Holy Grale. Hazy reddish amber with a small head. The nose is very fruit. Blackberry, dark tangy fruit compote. The taste is pretty tangy. More blackberry, strawberry preserve. Some citrus. A bit of chocolate. Leaf pile. Medium body, soft carb. Not bad.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAY 26, 2014 Really heady pour from a keg (might have been the end of the keg). Complex sweet smell. There?s a light but oddly un-carbonated mouth feel. Tan head and dark color with a reddish tint in light. The taste us malty and rich. The aftertaste has a hint of citrus with the tiniest amount of bitterness.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Stamp says HRT 2015.
Appearance: The body is a murky chestnut, opaque, with a thin tan head that quickly settles into a creamy ring.
Aroma: Bright cherry, mild vinegar, slight oak and sweet apple, hints of alcohol are apparent.
Taste: Very mild intro of muddy malts, some cocoa. This leads to a strong apple and oak mid-flavor which is on top of a semi-sweet raspberry that goes through to the finish along with some tanins creating a semi-dry finish. This isnít nearly as bright or enticing as the aroma.
Palate: Medium bodied, very low in carbonation, pretty much flat.
Overall: Be wary this is the largest gusher Iíve ever had. I canít imagine how the cap stayed on or the bottle didnít explode. Once the cap was popped the beer was a fountain. I lost half of the bottle. Probably for the best because this isnít very good anyway. Iím just glad the beer didnít get on my electronics...
