3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle… Pours very dark brown with a small, creamy, khaki head. Good retention. The aroma is an earthy blend of leather, funk, lactic acid, wood and dust with a hint of tobacco. Medium to full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Leans on the bitter side of balance. The flavor bears some funk and acidity, but tannic, woody bitterness overpowers everything else. Lengthy, moderately bitter finish. Kudos to darkguardian for sharing the bottle!
