Commercial Description:
Cat. S - Stamwortgehalte: 15,7 °P Kleur: 80 EBC - Bitterheid: 32 EBU

Bottle (330ml). Shared with blankboy and garthicus, via trade with Glouglouburp. 2003 Vintage. Cloudy reddish, smallish creamy white head. Dry, light aroma, caramel malt, dry spice, slightly floral .... sweet. Taste has flattened out some, a little bit papery, but still a subtle caramel and light spice flavour, restrained alcohol and a floral finish. Light body, not much carbonation left (it didn’t pop or "gish" at all on opening), a quick finish to the malt and a slight tartness on the tongue as an aftertaste. Just okay, probably much better fresher. Thanks for sharing the retired beer, Dany!

33cl bottle @ Delirium Cafe. 2003 Vintage. Pours cloudy amber with a bubbly white foam. Sweet and matured aroma. Dark fruits, yeast and caramel. Medium bodied. Taste is caramel, sugar, berries and dark fruits. A little raspberry sourness sneaks up in the finish. Close to over the top. . . .

Coudy dark amber hue, with a creamy beige head, sweet toasty, raw grainy, fruity nose of dried raisins, dates, figs, with a hint of dark chocolate, candi sugar, with a light toffee accent in the aroma follows through a medium-bodied palate with a sweet toasty, caramelized malt character, with a good candi, brown sugar, toffee, brown chocolate flavor, with some fruity, dried raisin, date, fig notes, with a light cokie dough accent, leading towards a malty, fruity, lingering hop bitterness finish.
