tap @ borefts - taken from notes. Pours dark amber with small head - aroma of nuts, plums, raisins and some vinegar hints, alongside the touch of red grapes. Medium body, sweet , small madeira hint. Very drinkable, like!

Bottle. Murky mahogany pour with spotty bubbles on the surface. Aroma is tart with vinegar, wine notes, wet wood, dark fruit and caramel. Taste is slightly tart fruit, ripe fruit, dark fruit, balsamic vinegar, caramel notes, wine, wet wood, booze and dessert cake. Body is medium with sparse carbonation and mild warmth. Ends with more tart fruits, dark fruit notes, wet wood, balsamic vinegar, booze and caramel notes. Tasty but lacking a bit body-wise.

Pours deep brown, bordering on black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has dark chocolate, oak, red wine, raisins, plums, light vinious. Medium to low carbonation, very oily and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is complex, dark toasted caramel, dark chocolate with prunes and madeira. Lingering oak and red wine astringency. Lingering dry and vinious finish. Lovely, strong and complex.

Bottle @ Alvinne Proeflokaal. Brown coloured beer with no carbonation and almost no light brown head. Cherry porto fruity malty hinted aroma. Rather creamy full palate. FInish is sweet alcoholic, again porto fruity hinted. Stronge, special, lovely.

Cant drink a lot of this in one sitting. Smells and tastes very nice but I can only handle it in limited quantites. I was struck by that there is almost no carbination, sometimes I forgot I was drinking a beer and felt like I was drinking a port wine.

@BBF12. Pours brown with a small white head. Aroma is roasted caramel, dark dried fruit and light fruity yeast. Flavour is sweet roasted caramel, dark dried fruit, light fruity yeast and alcohol.

Bouteille de 500ml partagée avec Patrick. Bière brune foncée avec une mousse beige, cette mousse est mince. Le nez est agréable de fruits secs, de sucre brun, de cassonade et une touche d’alcool (14% ça parait). La bouche est fort agréable avec des fruits secs, de la tire d’érable, caramel, toffee, cassonade, de la vanille du fût de chêne qui est très bien intégré, pas agressif mais présent. La texture est belle avec une finale quasi huileuse. 7+

Une bouteille de 50 cl. Une robe acajou et son col mousseux qui s’accroche avec une ténacité certaine. Beaucoup de mélasse, de caramel foncé et de chocolat qui explosent sous mon nez mais qui laissent tout de même une énorme place à un panier fruité plutôt complexe et enlacé par un chêne modérément expressif. L’alcool est perceptible et transporte des notes de raisins à la manière d’un vin liquoreux. Sur les papilles, le liquide fond comme un bonbon fruité et sucré. La langue retient beaucoup de douceur et devient rapidement chaude. Les fruits foncés et le chêne sont des flaveurs intimement liées. Il y a un profil suret qui apparaît sous cette montagne maltée : une venue que je considère appréciable. En bouche, le liquide montre un corps plutôt dense avec un apport modéré de bulles. La texture est lisse et devient collante dans les derniers moments de la dégustation. En finale, les notes maltées s’étendent comme une confiture sur un gâteau mouillé par une liqueur fruitée. Un liquide savoureux, costaud et appréciable.

Dark brown color with quite a lot of sediment; creamy head. Some aroma of alcohol, prunes, chocolate; fresh and inviting, delicate. Good body strength, with smooth mouthfeel, also because of the high carbonation; roasted malt flavor and chocolate, rich, with light accents of red wine, and correct bitterness.
It combines in a very elegant way te chocolate and the red wine characters.
Deep, intense, complex and well blended. Highly interesting.

50 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet enjoyed at home. Pours murky dark brown with a one finger brown head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of dark fruits, figs, raisin etc. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, light sourness and some salty aftertaste. Full body and a bit oily texture. Some alcohol warmness butt 14% is hidden quite well. Nice one
