Some wonderful notes here! Fig balsamic vinegar, smoke, whisky...so much nose. Sour, acidic, rich body, though thinner than would be ideal. Layers of interest. (on tap, Church Key, Washington DC)

Draft. Medium beige head atop dark brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, vinous/grape, some wood, whisky, caramel. Taste is sweet, vinous/grape, some caramel, cherry sourness, light whisky, vinegar. Sticky medium-full body.

On tap at Churchkey. Dark brown body with thin head. Nose of dark fruits, raisins, plums. Taste is sour, of chocolate, fruity. Interesting mix with wine notes too.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a dark brown color. Aroma was some sour cherries, vanilla notes. Flavor had touch of dark fruits, red wine, touch of brandy.

Draft at Churchkey. Clear dark maroon color, tan edge head. Aroma of red wine tannins, sour cherries, vanilla, port. Taste is softly sour cherry laced port wine. Very tasty.
