Pours redish black with very small tan head out of bottle. Aroma similar to a dark wine with hint of oak. Very smooth and sour flavor with hints of brandy. Very good beer!

Bottle to glass. Pours a deep brown mahogany color with a thin rim of tan head. Aroma is slightly tart, dark sour fruits, hint of red wine sweetness. Flavor is moderately sour with a touch of wine sweetness. Oily mouthfeel with a sticky lingering sour. Very decent sour.

Idiosyncratic take on the oud bruin theme with a thin and quickly dissipating head and ’dirty’ brown colour. Powerful aroma of apple, passion fruit, sweet paprika, liquorice, madera, caramel; complex, vinous palate, smooth with the sweet-and-sour one can expect from a typical oud bruin, some bitterish tannines from the bourgogne barrels in the finish, strikingly thin mouthfeel in view of its strength. Interesting beer and again, I applaud all new contributions to the fading oud bruin style.

Pours reddish unclear with a beige head. Aroma brings light earthy and tart malts and a bit of leather. Flavor brings some cherry tart on a darker roasted malt body, vague smoke, and a bit of a flat tart ending.

bottleshare thanks to DexterCat. Nose is slightly acetic with some balsamic notes. Some fruitiness. Pour is nearly flat. Very dark brown in color. Taste is moderate to strongly tart. Some vinous character with an alcohol burn in the end. Hmm. Not a huge fan. Seems to be out of balance.

Bottled. Pours deep red/brown with a small, lacing beige head. Aroma of roasted, sour berries, red grapes and wood. Slightly sweet flavor tahat ends up dry and tart. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carb. A very nice red Sour.

Pours a dark brown with little to no head. Aroma is oaky with hints of oxidation and a faint sugary note. Leather and burnt wood as well. Taste is faintly sweet and sour. Hints of toasted malt and wood. Slick mouthfeel low co2.

P: Pours a dark brown cola body with dark khaki head that fizzles to a thin cap. Silky micro bubble lacing sloshes on the edge.
S: Cardboard, cedar chips, horseradish, insulation foam, dandelion weeds, faint paint fumes and potpourri. Natural and musty funk aroma not much tartness.
T/M: Dark figs and dark cherry tartness. Naturally dirty flavors play off the wood and acidic fruits. All natural fruit rollup, and bitter sweet chocolate lurks in the distance. Good prickly semi syrupy body and finishes dry with lingering apple cider vinegar.
O: Overall a well crafted brew. The natural mustiness was welcoming but I think it may have overpowered the base concoction. The acidity and definitely the tartness was muted and the flavors were not masterfully blended. Good but not in the top five.

Bottle shared at Proof. Aroma of sour cherries, plums, caramel, oak and rotten citrus. Light acetone and strong lactic acid in flavor with dark fruits and oak. Pickering finish. Not bad.
