3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
on tap at st sour in louisville. this started out smelling like a freshly opened bottle of wine and as it warmed up the stout aromas of chocolate and toffee. this poured a dark brown almost black. the tastes of wine, oak, chocolate and some semi sweet sour all wash through the sip. thve feel is just light enough to make you forget that this is 1/3 stout. overall this is a good beer, very different than almost any other beer you may have and if you enjoy sours then this is a must just for the tick and experience.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Pours an unclear and dark brown beer with no head. The aroma is malt, roasted and caramel. The flavor follows the nose with acidic notes. The palate is refreshing with sweetness. Overall a good beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance - Deep red body, choppy lacing
Aroma - Grapes, wood, leather, vanilla, sour candy
Taste - Burgundy, vinous, sour cherries, tart
This was an interesting find, and it really did taste like Burgundy with some nice sour attributes. The tart was short-lived and finished nice and dry with hints of oak.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ BBF 12.
Pour murky brown, with a small head.
Aroma of (coffee(?)), sour cherries, slight funk, slight brett. Taste is quite sour, with some faint sweet notes. Average body, with a slight fizzy carb. This is a little weird, but grew on me during the glass.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From tap at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. ABV is 10% according to my notes from the beer menu at the booth. Body is dark like coca cola with a creamy tan colored rim. Dried fruits, raisins and wooden notes like a fruity liqueur on the nose. In the mouth it’s fruity, acidic and citrusy. Medium bodied and flat and a mouth feel of grapefruit juice. Short end.
