750mL bottle. This is the most basic type of Flanders Red, should go for like 2 euro over in Europe. Dark brown color. Aroma is dirt and ash. Flavor is faintly musky dank dark malts. Not that bad but very unimpressive, I am glad I was not the one who dished out on this price tag.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 bierkoning (8099) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2010
Bottle from Bierkompass.de. Deep dark brown color. Vinous aroma with grapes, cherry and oak, like a fortified and matured Rodenbach Grand Cru. Odd mix of dried fruit with coffee as initial flavors, challenged and conquered finally by an upcoming tartness. Vinous flavors, oak, cherry, roast, tobacco. Extremely complex and the balance is questionable, but this beer is so good.........

Much better as it warms up, sour raspberries and dark cherries with some vanilla and some roasted malts with hints of milk chocolate. Not quite sour but its still pretty good!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 madmitch76 (6092) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2010
5th March 2010. Pre ZBF. Opaque black beer. A little sour coca cola on the nose. Dry palate but not overly so. Very curious taste. Milky coca cola with a nutty tone. Pretty sweet but also sour! Not a bad beer but just a bit odd.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thebeertourist (4058) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2010
Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brussels. Almost black with a small beige head. Vinous aroma. Vinous flavours meet fat chocolate, hints of cheese. A bit sticky. The chocolate and the acidity does not really marry, but absolutely drinkable nevertheless.
