Tap into a wineglass showing pitch black with a finger of very quickly dissipating latte colored foam.
The nose is very red wine forward. Dark black forest fruits of plums, black berries, and bing cherries.
the palate is lightly carbonated and highly tart with the same wine forward flavors showing up on the palate. Slightly tannic, could use a bit more carbonation.

A very dark brown color with virtually no head to speak of. Aroma is sour, fruits, molasses, vinegar, and a bit of wine. Taste is also sour, fruity, nutty, sour strawberries, some grapes, and a tad of oak. A medium body, a slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is long and very sour but nonetheless palatable and enjoyable. Overall the beer is good, I have never been a sucker for sour ales but this one is actually pleasant.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen (12/06/2016) - dark red pour with small head. Aroma and taste is prominent cherry, very sweet, cheery skin, red wine soaked oaky wooden nuance, vinegar, medium to high acidity, didnt get on well with this.

Bottle (BB Nov 2018). Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown (with ruby tones). Aroma is moderately malty (molasses, nuts), with notes of vinegar, old walnut shells, cardboard, sherry, cherry. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, moderately to heavily acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately to heavily acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Phew, pretty damned difficult to like this...nose is all oxidation and syrupy/molasses-like malt and vinegar, and the mouth experience is dirty and harsh. I like sour ales fine, esp. well-made Flemish reds, but this ain’t one of those. This is poorly oxidized stout or some such, very crude and raw. A complete drain pour.
