On bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Dark brown, almost rustic color- very little foam. Aromas of dried fruits , malt, red wine, oak- very Nice yeast influence. Medium body & high complexity . High sourness, good bitterness- and quite a lot of tannins. Very enjoyable

Bottle.Pours brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of sour berries, some malt, vinegar and caramel. Flavor is sweet and sour with some vinegar, sour red berries, some oak, malt, grapes and caramel. Medium body, average carbonation.

Pours clear dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, fruits, tart, vinegar. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium sour with a dry sour and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Bottle from Greens. Poured an opaque dark burgundy, damn near black with ruby highlights. No carbonation, still. Gorgeous nose. Slightly fruity and sour with just a touch roast. Vinous from top to bottom. Flavors were tart on the verge of puckering. Dry finish led to a refreshing beer. Would have liked some carbonation. Good though.

Spina @ Zythos biere festival. Ambrata scurissima, priva di schiuma. Molto strana, acida e tostata. Difficile da bere... Comunque interessante...

Tap. Pours a dark brown with no head. Aromas of a typical sour Brune. Flavors of sour raspberries and wood.

Shared 0,5 L bottle. Pours a hazed dark burgundy body, with a layer of tanned bubbles on top. Red wine aroma with a light sourness to it. Light barrel notes and hint of yellow fruits and burnt caramel. Taste is light sweet, light sour-acidic. Vinous, with faint caramel some dried fruit tones. Medium full. Light sparkling carbonation. Dry, fruity acidic and light bitterish finish. Very likeable. [09.02.13]

Wine, vineous, grape, moderate to light sourness. Bergundy brown in color. Pretty decent stuff

First impression.. Not as tart as I was expecting... Not what I was expecting at all?? I can understand why others have said cola, though it’s more complex then that. Aromas of dried cherries, raisins, mild balsamic vinegar, caramel and damp, wine soaked wood dominate the aromas.. While the palate is a touch sweeter and fuller then tart, which really accentuates the dried fruit on the palate and sets it apart from the overly acidic sours of today.. Lovely palate dominated by mildly sweet, dried cherries and raisins and a hint of caramel and balsamic vinegar.. Very pure fruit profile.. Full bodied.. Zero carbonation... Dry, mildly tart cherry/raisin finish.. Refreshing and mouthwatering.. Balanced and well delineated aromas and flavors.. Ruby Port like.. in the most positive sense of the term. Very enjoyable. Super easy to drink. Leaves me craving more... --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...
