Big white head. Aroma has floral hoppy notes but very powerful. Nice carbonation. Not an IPA but a belgian style...hopped beer.

A delicious Belgian beer. Aroma was great. Strong Belgian yeast, bubble gum, and sweet malt. Lovely. Pour was a beautiful medium gold with lots of sediment floating around and a one finger off white head. Taste was classic Belgian. Strong candi sugar, Belgian yeast and brown sugar. Delicious beer. Sweet, but not cloying. Nice carbonation. Best Belgian beer I’ve had in a while.

Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of grainy malts, yeast, and a touch of hops. Flavor was kind of lemony and herbal with some sweetness.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4035) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2011
Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a heavily overcarbonated murky yellow-gold color with an enormous foamy orange-white head that lingered forever and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy with faint fruity hops, pepper, must, peach and dust. The flavor was dry, bitter and lightly perfumey with undertones of cracker, peach, pear and bread. The finish was short fruit and bread. Fairly full bodied despite the overcarbonation. Decent.

Amber cloudy body with particles and a white head. Floral hoppy aroma with yeast and lemon. Harsh palate, bittersweet flavour with a spicy and dry finish.

33 cl Belgian bottle, $2.50 @ Binny’s Bolingbrook. A little cap of foam pops up after the cap comes off. Poured straight down, I have a lot of foam, while a pale ale forms below with many chunks of chaff, yeast sediment, whatever. Smell does want to be a pale ale: I gets the sweet malts, but not much in hops. I will say, though, I like the taste. It has some strong malt, maybe a touch too sweet. Those strong American hops they’re claiming are just not there. Maybe this is an older bottle, and what do I expect for shopping off the closeout rack? Slight sour finish, but it does end up as a decent Belgian ale, with bitter hop notes finally checking in.

330ml bottle, as IPA Extra, at Bier Central. Light golden body, unclear. White rocky head, almost gushing. Floral-fruity nose. Fresh fruity flavour with emphasis on oranges, yeasty notes beneath. Dry hoppy finish. Very nice with smooth drinkability (Antwerpen, 29.04.2011).

bottle@bar: bottle calls it an IPA and is probably closer to an IPA than a Belgian Ale, my bottle was slowly but continually gushing, resulting in more head than beer and the head made it look like they put dishwashing liquid in there, foaming like crazy, I am pretty sure that the whole thing was unique to my bottle because that cannot be normal, right? beer itself was hazy, bright golden, smells sweet hops with some flowers and fruit in there, dry finish, full, clean, sharp bitter taste with some sweetness underneat, flowers, fruit (pear & lemon), agressive carbonation, lots of yeast
