Medium cream to beige head, fast gone, over hazy cola-coloured beer. End of bottle near-solid yeast. Very nice, fresh-smelling herbs/spices mix. I seem to get lavender, rosemary, cypresss and a touch of cinnamon - juniper too, maybe? Intriguing! Further gingerbread with a well-baked crust. Spicy taste, with light, but distinct sourish lining. Dark malts, and I can guess the wheat. Again rosemary, juniper - and laurel allez . Rosehips too - and sparadrap . Hmpff -- wanna know. Very slick, medium to well-bodied, quite spritzy. Nice one guys! Tell us more. Actually, IMHO this would do very well as a Christmas ale.

Pours a nice reddish brown. Aromas of cinnamon/ginger/nutmeg. Flavor is bitter roast/chocolate with spices and a little coriander.

Pitch dark brown body with an off white head. Aroma is spicy and malty, with pineapple and mango. Flavour is interesting, sweet with caramel and spices at the start with an acidic finish.

Säuerlicher und stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Dann nach Kirschen, gleichzeitig herber und malzig. Die Säuerlichkeit bleibt bestehen und wird ein Grundpfeiler des Bieres. Leider ist der Hintergrund wenig intensiv, so dass das Bier schnell erschöpft. Ein erfrischendes und gleichzeitig malziges Bier ist es trotzdem geworden. 9/8/9/7/7/8

Flaske: Sortbrun gennemsigtig øl med et stort luftigt skumhoved. Duften er meget krydret, nærmest julet. Smagen er igen meget krydret, men en livlig karbonering giver et godt modspil så øllen er drikbar. Fin men lidt speciel.

Bottle (33 cl) from Etre Gourmet. Murky brown, medium creamy beige head. Spicy coke (or swedish "julmust" aroma) with notes of juniper and ginger. Sour and bitter. Probably infected, or perhaps just old (no best before date).

Hazy brown color, with a beige head.
Aroma fruits (berries), nut, caramel.
Medium body.
Taste sweet, fruits, caramel, berries, bit roast malts, spice touch.

Amber brown with an average beige head. Aroma is of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is of leaves, dirt, cinnamon and booze.

Bottle. Muddy brown, thick beige head. Aroam has early phenols, then cinnamon. Taste is candied dark fruit and alcohol, pumpernickel bread, slightly sour. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a muddy, deep brown with a good, thick, yellow head and light lacing. Aroma is phenolic with stale barn, pepper, spices. Taste is milk chocolate, cream, some light tartness in the finish. Odd but pretty good.

Dark brown color, small beige head. Very spicey, peppery, earthy, cellary aroma. Flavor is .. well .. spicey. Black pepper, clove etc. Dark malts, caramel malts. Also some sourness, so perhaps slightly infected. Christmas beer.
