A colabrown beer with a very big, soapy and light brown head. Aroma of fruits, citrusfruits, some roasted malts and liquirice, overally the aroma based on the tastefull fruits, balanced aroma. Taste of roasted malts, citrusfruits, some sour apples and lemon, aftertaste is quite dry and clearly roasted. Light+ bodied, quite fresh, lots of carbonation. Interesting and fresh Brown Ale, that is not always self-evidense in this style, unique fruits and citrusfruits gives the nice belgian touch.

Flöska, gracias al Rey Cecil para compartirla. Deep dark brown colour, almost black. Small light brown head. Ok lacing. Roastish flavour, sweet, some coffee, some dark fruit. Like a mild (thin like) porter.

kermis (11000) - Where the wild whales are, NETHERLANDS - JUN 22, 2012
Bottle at home. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is a strange combination of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee and sour dark fruit with a bit of a sickly quality. Much more sourness comes out in the flavour with the over aspects subdued in the background and some light bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, cardboard, and dusty hops, leading to a dry finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque black with a small beige head. Heavy chocolate aroma, even a little tobacco. Light body - almost watery - roast and tart dark, dried fruits. Ends dry and slightly tart. A Brown Ale?? I think not... 030312

rand (1490) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle 33 cl from Willems - Grobbendonk (B). Beer practically black, tan head. Roasted aromas, chocolate, spices, tobacco, leather and old barrel. Fruity taste, a bit sour, roasted malt, grassy and earthy hops. There are notes of cold coffee, black berries, sourish and lactic. A lot of taste without the bludgeon of alcohol.

Bottle. It pours a very dark brown body under a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has some strange radish or asparagus hints, but is mostly on the dark side, with roasted malts, chocolate, and a touch of vinegar and licorice. The flavor is sourish, with roasted malts, some chocolate, vinegar and licorice. Roasted and lightly sour finish. Medium body fullness. Well, a nice beer, but with some aromas and flavors not so nice. Don’t think I could drink much of it. 110610
