Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Pours a very dark brown color with orange highlights. Tannish type head. Aroma is chocolate, dark malty grains, and some Belgian spice. Flavor is a little tart, some dry bitter notes, touches of burnt malts. Finishes sour. Aroma was way better than the flavor.

Bottle @ home, shared with DutchDrebus. Almost pitch black, opaque color, slightly lacing average sized light brown head. Smell dark fruits, raisins, hint of grapes. Taste sour and pretty thin. Carbo is nice and soft (not used to with Alvinne beers) but the beer has a low body.

Very black with small beige head. Funky aroma, malty bit of ovaltine and doughy. Pricly taste, slight bitterness bit herbal. Medium bodied with a bitter finish and a sherberty fizz. Really interesting taste and surprisingly flavoursome for such a low alcohol beer. Nice!

Bottle passed on to me by oh6gdx at Craft Beer Co. Dark-brown body with a beige patchy surface. Tart and sweet aroma of chocolate malts. Dark malts, mid-sour berries, and yeasty fruitiness in flavour. Dry and sour on the swallow. A bit thin bodied, but overall a satisfying palate cleanser (London, 01.08.2011).

Bottled@Craft Beer Co, London. Quite much black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some vegetables and mild yeastyness as well. Flavour is liquorice, fruits, wood, some mild toasted notes as well as some toffee. Quite sour finish.

Taste this end may 2011 @ brewery. From Bottle. Dark brown color, with a creamy, beige head. Aroma coffeu touch, bit roasted malts, liqourice notes. Medium body. Taste woody, roasted malts, bitterness. Dry ending. Nice one, for a low alcohol beer.

(bottle, 33cl) Stout-like appearance: dark brown, almost black coloured hue with a brown and dense foamy head. Mildly sweet and roasted malty aroma with a touch of chocolate, dust and subtle fruity notes. Moderately bitter and slightly sour flavour, slim bodied with a soft carbonation. Slim roasty malty base with chocolate, liquorice and sourish berry notes towards the dry and moderately bitter finish. 24.VI.11
