Bottled (from Belgian Shop). Hazy deep amber colour with a small fluffy white head. Some lace. Aroma is rather sweet malts along with some slight alcohol as well as spices and herbs. Flavour is being quite much the same, along with some slight spicyness. A bit grassyness in the finish. Zesty and alcoholic in the finish. Still in a nice balance.

Bottle from Wells. Pours a cloudy, deep copper color with a fluffy white head. Very interesting aroma; starts with sweet honey and malt, turns peppery, a bit herbal, but then becomes a bit plastic (?). Silky body reveals a citric, grapefruit-themed hoppy surprise, backed by a heavy dose of sweet malt. Nice bitter finish, not sharp and biting like an American IPA, but smooth and tangy like a British IPA/Bitter. Eccentric, for sure; if you like mixing your styles, by all means, try this one.

sharp nose of unique citrus and hops, some light funk as well. appearance is very cloudy amber. flavor seems much more subdued then 115 IBUs. malt profile seems slightly off, some esters as well are present, espically simple fruits like orange.

Eructoblaster (2043) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 16, 2009
Bottle - 330ml. Hazy golden body with average carbonation and a huge off-white foamy head. Lovely malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, coriander and honeyish hints. Its sharp and strong hoppy taste carries herbal and grainy notes. Ends with a robust bitter/sour finish. Not for lagerboys.

Bottle. Gusher; pours hazy orange with a large, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cereal, straw), average hop (flowers, grass, citrus), average yeast (earth, horse blanket) with notes of grapes, sour apples, and cork. Medium bodied, gritty texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Cloudy amber color. Chalk white head. Candy sugar, oranges, bready nose. Big bready, oranges and spices in mouth and a touch phenolic. Warming finish.

Draught at Monk’s: Sweet aroma of honey, grains, and apples. Poured gold/yellow in color with a medium-sized, creamy, white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Not sparkling Full of tiny particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of apples, light wood, yeast, slight alcohol, and a hot pepper-like spiciness. Light to medium body. Oily, slightly dry texture. Soft carbonation. Dry apple, wood, yeast, and spicy finish. I did not detect 115IBUs at all. Hops did not even really come out much in the flavor. 8%ABV was well hidden though.
