3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DruncanVeasey (4800) - NUNEATON, Conference North, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2010
Bottle. Brilliant lager gold/witbier hazy with a coarse hissing head subsiding to a slick. Pine sap, marmalade, furniture polish and honey aroma with a good resinous waft of hop; more of that in the mouth, but with an unsettling disinfectant (TCP) undercurrent that these hopped-up, coniferous Belgians tend to share. The hops are full-on for style, but one-dimensional and demolish what balancing vanilla, biscuit and sherbet is struggling to come across. That said, drinks easy at the ABV and does acquire an added dimension of grassy softness and lemon with all the sludge tipped in. Pretty bog standard hopped-up Tripel.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Allen (2394) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 19, 2010
Bottled 33cl. Murky golden with impurities floating with a creamy, nicely lasting white head. Great hop profile. Flawless balance. Yeasty. Hints of tangerines, lemongrass, vanilla and pineapple throughout. Good bitterness. Long complex finish. I reveled in every sip- the hop components are extremely well integrated. Complex, subtle and mindblowingly pleasant.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BREWMUSKCLES (1610) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 14, 2010
it is a brew that needs to settle down for some minutes just out of the bottle. after some time one gets a brew with a chemical pineapple taste that is oversweet and set into what seems to be a decent malt base. broomstraw taste and aroma...oatmeal....some vanilla...and chemical...eehhh with a chalky summer ivy bite to the finish. re rated and adjusted upward 3 points after warm bottled brew was allowed to settle in a glas undisturbed for over 30 minutes.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 omhper (15600) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 10, 2010
Bottled. Cloudy golden liquid that explodes all over the room upon opening, spilling near half the bottle onto the floor. Herbal hoppy nose. Dry and very lively, bitter herbs are prevalent. Medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Feels light and pleasantly hoppy with marked herbal bitterness.

Methinks I got a bad bottle. Way to sweet. overpowered the hops. Nice hop aroma and a nice light golden color but the taste was not good at all.

Sample bottle at the brewery, poured by Glenn.

Aroma of bread, orange peel and coriander.
Dominant malts with complex spiciness.
Good body.
Excellent Belgian style IPA.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jukkabro (3457) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 11, 2009
Dark coppery colored with hazy appearance, medium sized yellow head. Lots of yeast visible in glass. Rich hopped aroma with strong lemon coming up, spices, yeast and even some sourness come up too. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is even more hopped with some herbal and flowery notes, lemon also comes up strongly. Aftertaste dries with yeast and hops still. I like hops in this.
