Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a bit of sediment floating around under a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, malt, straw, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry and very bitter finish where a light note of brettanomyces shows up. The body is light.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with floating impurities and a lacing, rough off-white head. Very lively - comes gushing. Fresh and citrusy nose - almost perfumy. Also some dry Brett up there. Medium body, very dry fruit and leathery dry Brett. Flowery, fresh hops and a rather bitter finish. 210810

5th March 2010. Pre ZBF. Very hazy amber beer. Good frothy off white head. Dry palate - a little soft but has crisp edges! Nice hop fruit - marmalade orange and grapefruit. Unlike it’s 2 siblings - mercifully free of sulfur!

Bottled. Cloudy golden color, big rocky head, debris floating around. Not just yeast, but it looks like hop debris? Ok carbonation, certainly compared to another bottle i’ve had from the hop trilogy. Nice aroma of the lovely columbus hop, fruity, hint of grass and pine. Good bitter taste. Ok IPA, not outstanding though.

Bottle 750ml. @ home.

Unclear hazy medium orange color with a average to large, creamy - frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, grass, sharp. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long long duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100611]
