Bottle from bierkompass.de. Orange color, light gusher. Grassy, oily hoparoma with grapefruit and pineapple. Firm oily hopbitter flavor with loads of tropical fruit. Long oily hopbitter aftertaste. Still perfectly drinkable in spite of the huge hopbitterness.

bottle - (asheft) hazy orange beer with a thick white head. Lots of american hops aroma. Flavour has a strong bitterness. A little bit more maltiness could help. Medium carbonation.

[bottle] Potent US hops aroma; bitter grapefruit and pine, along with a slight, woody mustiness. Cloudy (from my pour) orange-red under a rocky, off-white foam. The flavour follows the aroma: dominated by US hops pine-grapefruit and bitter, but the bitterness is well supported by the hops flavour and spicy caramel malt. The beer is quite dry with some woodiness. Medium body, medium carbonation, bitter grapefruit finish.

Bottled, thanks baggio! Cloudy golden, lively head that keeps growing. Tropical fruit and yeast aromas. Medium dry, soft and rounded with lots of tropical fruit hoppiness gradually turning into piney bitterness. Dry and dnicely drinkable.

Bottle at pre-ZBF 2010, recommendation of Youri, thank you sir. Clear orange, no head, no lacing. Aroma of freshly mown grass, leather. Strong hops, nice taste, slightly unbalanced (logical, I guess), and a dry, bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle at Pre ZBF 2010. Very decent hop. Probably the best of the 3 single hop beers available. Still probably needs more malt to back up the hops. Decent hops on stinging finish.

Gushing to cover my computer desk in reeking beer. Fully hazy foxy-orange beer with medium (!) yellow head. Very discreet C-hops aroma, grapefruit, bit of cake or cookies, discreet but nice. Indifferent hoppy bitterness; very little maltbacking, actually lacking. Outspoken yeast presence, albeit without much esters. Yeast slickness and filling, beefing up the body, but still - indifferent. Definitely less interesting than the Centennial, but that’s far from saying it’s bad.

pre-ZBF ... murky amber ... soft lime hop nose ... sweet fruits ... pine hop ... seems a little unbalanced .. but drinkable,

Had this at Pre ZBF March 5th 2010 Of the three beers in this series this one looked the least appealing pouring rather cloudy, I thought that it may have been from the bottom of the bottle but I had another and it was also a cloudy little number. Despite it not being a stunner this is the best of the three in my opinion, good sweetness and nice tangy bite, furry bitterness with a nice hoppiness showing in fact there is a bag of varied citrus fruits in there, yep this is the best of the three and the only one that I returned to.
