Bottle 750ml. @ home.

Clear medium to dark red color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, berry - fruity, moderate cherry, wood - oak and bourgogne. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate acidic berries with a average to long duration, dry and tart, cherries. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100810]

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark red with a small pink head. Aroma is cherry, almondish and light wooden. Dry cherry and almondish flavoured, smooth vanilla touch. Wineous note to the cherries. Dry and mild citric finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear red with a small off-white head. Dry and lactic aroma, very tart berries. Rather light in body, very tart berry fruitiness with an astringent and almost leathery finish. Leaves some tannins on the teeth. Very dry finish - fresh though. 210810

Bottled@sayravaitasting (from bierkompass.de). Very deep ambery brown colour along with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild sour wooden notes along with some cherries, mild vanilla and quite earthy notes. Flavour is being quite similar. Mild chocolate cookielike notes as well.

Bottle at PreZBF 2010. Hazy dark red coloured with a small pink head. Fruity aroma of red wine and cherries with notes of oak. Light acidic flavour of red wine, berries and cherries with notes of marzipan. Tart finish of marzipan.

Bottle. Pours a reddish color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity woody cherry aroma. Fruity sour woody cherry flavor. Has a fruity sour tart cherry woody finish.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, Jan 2011. Thank you HallingHansen. Pours cloudy pink with a creamy white head on top. Cherries/berries and a bit of marzipan and oak in the nose. Sweet. Vaguely tart and refreshing flavor with oak and cherries. Smooth and really tasty.

Beautiful red-dark amber color; medium sized compact head. Aroma of cherry stones, then soap, light vinegar, caramel and cream; very interesting. The body is very thin, the mouthfeel dry and acidic; there is some light, dry caramel flavor, with light cherry flavor, some vinous character, fruits (grapes and plums). The final is a bit astringent and sour, dry, with light tones of roasted nuts.

(750ml bottle, BB Feb 2015) Pours a murky dirty blood red body with a spare off-white head. Aroma of cherry, yogurt, vinous, barnyard, red currants, wet leather, and wood. Flavor of cherry, Bourgogne tannins, earth, and lacto with a dry wood finish. Excellent.
