Poured a dark red with a light pink head. Aroma was light but wonderfully pleasant, with notes of cherry, wood, and a sugary sweetness, perhaps marzipan. Flavor had added a subtle funkiness to the cherry component, with more vanilla and wood. Palate was light and crisp-- a really refreshing kriek. Not earth-shattering, but yummy.

Draught at Pre-ZBF 2010. Murky reddish with laced head. Great aroma of ripe fruits, vanilla, oak and spicy coconut mix. It’s quite unique. The aroma shows through in flavour as well. The balance is superb but my only flaw is that it tends to finish on a strangely sweet and sour note. Perhaps it’s a little ’ripe’ at the moment. A nice interesting brew.
