3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep red with a thick white head. Aroma mixes barnyard elements with cherry and sour.
The taste is more sour and less fruity than I expected, reasonably well bodied for its style though you would never detect that this is 7° ABV. Sour, strong taste though not really complex. A good alternative to gueuze based krieks.

Dark brown/red, hazy with small head, off white, dissipating. Aroma is wood(oak), tart(a bit acetic acid too), some funk(earthy) and sour cherry forward. Taste is very tart(you can sense some acetic acid), balsamic vinegar, not very complex though. Finish is sour cherry and tart and a bit vinegary. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily and creamy texture.
Very good but more like a flander’s red with cherries...
