On tap @ Haandfest 2014 as Kerasus 2014. A cool looking really amber purple colored one. No head to write home about. Smells tartish and I get lots of nice red sour fruity tones mixed with a good quality red wine vinegar. Some "grillkrydder" also. Smells nice. Quite sharp on the lemons this! Sour green apples detected immediately. Soft oily in the mouth and it’s really gentle on the carbonation bubbles. Actually quite good this, but a bit disturbing with the "grillkrydder" thing. Ends with traces of slightly sourned cherries and fruity strawberries. 24.05.2014

500ml bottle pours dark oily toasted blood red with no head. Nose is musty tart mashed cherry, red wine, sublt oak, grape. Taste is similar with no carbonation, slick, sweet tart dark fruit and cherry, berry, red grape, wine, damp wood. Finish is tart ripe berries, sweet sour dark cherry, musty, earthy grape. Tasty.

Pours a deep ruby red with a touch of haze and a thin veil of bubbles. Nose is musky cherry, earthy pit, basement funk, light vinegar and lots of vinous fruit. Palate is round and juicy with nice cherry fruit, dialed in sourness, layered funk, vinous acidity lingers. Nice beer !

Fick en flaska från servitören på Nuetnigenough. Frisk körsbärssyra i doften. Lite syrliga körsbärsgodisar i doften. Skarp och omgående ättiksyra dominerar. citron och svagt drag av magsaft. Dolda körsbär i smaken. Liknar snarare nån amerikansk körsbärssuring, vilket inte nödvändigtvis är negativt.

Drank as Kerasus 2013. Not 100% sure if this is the right entry, PM me if it’s wrong! Sample at Brugs Bierfestival 2014. Shared with Mathieu87 and other. APPEARANCE: dark red beer, small unstable red head. NOSE: sour, wood, red fruits. TASTE: sour, wood, red fruits, dry aftertaste, decent!
