Bottle picked up in Brugge and opened in my Munich hotel room my last night in Europe. Cloudy red appearance with a pinkish head. Tart cherry, somewhat acidic, lemon citrusy, a bit funky flavor. Somewhat sour, tangy cherry, moderately refreshing, tart lemon, light woody flavor. Pretty straight forward but fun to drink.

10cl sample from bottle at the Leuven Innovation Beer Festival II 2016 (16 V 2016), as "Kerasus 2015". A "very" dark red ale, like a dark red wine with swiftly diminishing head. It is very tart and sour, with lots of sour cherry features, wood notes and a lemonness in the sour mouthfeel. In the flavours, you can notice the bretty character of this wild ale - kind of a Flemish old brown even. Not surprisingly, the sour Morpheus undressed is used for this Limburg Kelleries sour cherries enhanced ale. Beautiful.

Piana minimalna, sycząca, szybko opada do zera. Barwa czerwono brunatna, mętna. Aromat kwaskowy, mocno wiśniowy, winny. W smaku kwaśne, lekko octowe, wiśniowe, z nutami starego drewna, tanin. Wysycenie średnie do niskiego, goryczki brak.
Nieźle pijalny, orzeźwiający kriek, niespecjalnie skomplikowany czy rozbudowany (choć nie jest wodnisty).

Bottle at home. Deep ruby with pink head. Sour cherries, red wine vinegar, asphalt, salmiak, red berries, some grass, light sour grains. Over medium sour. But under medium bodied. Decent but there’s some not so good notes underneath.

Bottle, bb 2021, batch 804, Kerasus 2015. Pours deep red, with small, pinkish head. Strong aroma of sour cherries. Taste is highly sour, with lots of cherries. Medium bodied, with average carbonation. Another very good beer from Alvinne. Morpheus yeast rule!

50cl bottle at The Sovereign pours a murky, rusty red with zero head. Muddy and not very appealing to the eye. Nose is good though, plenty of cherries, both dried and fresh, light vinegar, some light pomegranate. Flavor is tart with cherries and pomegranate and vinegar, a touch of caramel malt smooths some rough edges. Full bodied, acetic finish.
