angel77 (1276) - oviedo, SPAIN - APR 18, 2015

Bottle; pours cloudy amber with a thin beige head; sweet aroma of sugar, yeast, caramel, and dried fruit; taste is sweet with caramel, brown sugar, yeast, and dark fruit; finish is sweet with a little alcohol warming; good but a touch on the sweet side

ekstedt (5838) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 4, 2015
Bottle (33 cl) from Beergium.be. Clear chestnut, medium tan head. Caramelly, nutty aroma, barnyard funk, plenty of alcohol. Medium bodied, mmedium to high carbonation. Dry, low to medium bitterness. With half the abv this could have been nice.

ogivlado (6167) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 29, 2015
Bottled 330ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Red/brown coloured, minimal off-white head, caramel and dried fruits in the nose (not so pleasant lets say). Sweet malty, caramel, light perfumed dried fruits and alcohol with touch of spices. Sugary alcoholic finish. Good in a way but too strong alcohol and dried fruits presence.

Trappist1 (642) - Diest, BELGIUM - JAN 21, 2015
Brown with a beige head. Nose:yeast, Malts, hops, cherries. Taste:yeast, malt, bit grainy, dark fruits, nuts. Good carbonation. Bitter but with a strong sweet finish that takes over. Long stretch, alcohol is present but not what you would expect for the 13.9%. Overall, in balance. Maybe, undershooting some, would have expected more. Not your daily dram, but definitely good for trying especially with this cold winter weather...
