harrisoni (4915), Ashford, Kent, England Jul 21, 2008 Twickenham Brewery tasting 08. Very cloudy and the end of the bottle. Good Belgian peach fruit and good hops on end. Good beer. Mes_and_Sim (3967), London, Greater London, England Jul 20, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at the Tom’s awesome Twickenham Brewery tasting. Hazy yellow coloured with a really good white head and conditioning. Lovely peach aroma with some creamy lemon hoppage. Slight pepper and yeast. You know the style but it is done well here. The flavour is absolutely excellent. I really wasn’t expecting this. Beautiful creamy lemon hops with a slight funky sourness, stunning fruit and marzipan notes and a dry bitter finish with a slight kick of yeast. Adorable stuff. diabel (1188), Aarschot, Belgium Jun 23, 2008 Bottle at De Proefzolder, Heule, Belgium Blond hazy body, white rocky head. Nice aroma of hops, citrus and orange. Lightly bitter flavour with an ok balance. Ok beer. JorisPPattyn (4247), Antwerpen, Belgium May 19, 2008 Pretty hazy, straw-coloured beer with a small, creamy white head. Bit gassy upon pouring, later some dull-grainy, but also yeasty, phenolic. More phenols in the taste, and meaty esters. Very remarkable, and original, if not truly long-lasting taste. Seems to get some, if discreet, fatty acids. Medium bodied, very slick, a little astringency. Another beer that is better than the sum of its parts. Despite the low marks, I would urge people to try if they find it. Actually a tweaking of Alvinne Blond, that won’t be made any longer. BartC (222), Lichtaart, Belgium May 19, 2008 Hazy blond beer. Mild sweet fruity flavor. Very sticky mouthfeel. Starts with some maltiness and ending in a more yeasty aftertaste.
