Bottle at Pre-ZBF. Yellow-gold beer, off-white head. Soft, fruity nose with some lemon there. Light, corny-malty sweetness, light bitterness. Well-rounded flavor, maybe a bit thick.

Gedronken bij dutchdrebus, uit de fles, rook al heel zuur met een chinese geur en het smaakt ook heel zuur. Niet echt mijn smaak

Weird pale colour, bit muddy and chunky. Big white head. Smells like chinese food, weird, not nice. Tastes sour, weird, yeasty, sharp. Too much carbo for me. Not my beer.

Pours a medium golden yellowish color. Aromas of fruit, yeast and some pepper. Flavors are sour, yeasty, and a touch of sweetness at the finish.

Is it me or do all Alvinne beers have very high carbo and therefore (when they don’t explode) always a huge lively head? Seems this way to me. Average appearance, smell and taste with a light sourness in it. And way too much carbo off course.

Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011

Bottle provided by Pinball. Tasted during a Cohiba Cigar tasting. Total gusher. Poured deep cloudy golden with a medium off white head. The aroma is toasted malt, dark fruit and spicy yeast. The flavour is yeasty spice, citrus, caramel and oranges.

TBone (9405) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 6, 2011
Bottled 330ml (Bier Tempel, "Alvinne Lex’ke")
Slightly hazy color, huge (typical Alvinne) cloudy head, lace. Dry yeasty, hoppy aroma, some peach. Medium-bodied. Yeast dominates otherwise fruity flavor. Sticky alcoholic sweetness too with bitterness in the finish. Foamy mouthfeel. Feels stronger than 6.3%. Leaves kind of sour aftertaste. Just average.

30/12/2010 - 33cl bottle @ home

Mostly clear amber to orange beer, towering off-white head, long lasting and adhesive. Aroma: yeast, sweet malts, touch of alcohol, herbs and grasses. MF: nice sparkling, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and roasted malts up front, then hops and spices. Aftertaste: dry, spices and herbs, hops, lemony touch. general roasted malts flavour throughout the whole beer.
