Cerveza dorada con fina capa de espuma blanca. Olor fresco, floral y lupulado. Sabor amargo intenso, resinoso, pino, especias tipo gengibre. Fondo seco. Un carácter artesanal no apto para principiantes.

Pigg och läskande. Markerad beska men väldigt behaglig. Oerhört lättdrucken. Viss jästighet, annars inte speciellt belgisk i stilen. Skönt med lite variation bland allt surt.

culchiem (2301) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 30, 2014
Bottle in Brussels. Deep hazy orange with a thin head. Aroma is sour citrus. Flavour is dry bitter hop, citrus to make the palate water on a long bitter finish. Not usually my thing but a hell of a thirst quencher.

330 ml bottle at home. Pours light golden yellow with no head. Green hoppy nose, bit of malts. Huge bitter body, taste is overwhelmed with bitterness (hard wooden taste, pure pine... like chewing fresh hops... a bit too much for my taste.

Fin (7029) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2014
Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgium, consumed at home Sunday 23rd March 2014 Pours hazy dark gold with a white head, wonderfully citrussy. A bit like the Twickenham beers they did and wonderful for the abv, light spicy touch but it is the citrus that keeps coming back, but its fine and a good beer to drink alongside the Tripel Hop which we’re also having. (backlog BrugsBF 2014, ZO). This sadly went under in between the other massive offerings from the Alvinne/DSB, but was a nice and refreshing palate cleanser between two BA blows nevertheless. Missed a bit of the UK malt character, but citrus and minimal orange zest bitterness spot on, going on APA, dusty yeast presence rather going on fluffy saison than wafer ESB. Tasty crossover.

Dark blond colour. Subtle floral and fruity aromas. Light fruitiness and malts in the taste and a general bitter, dry finish. Balance is very good with this one.

Countbeer (4065) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 28, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized white foamy head on top of a hazy (close to murky) yellow colored beer. Aromas of hops, herbs, some fruit and nice herbal tones, yeast, some herbal fruity tones and hay. Nice mix, fun to smell. Flavours of bitters, herbs, light peach, lighter citrus, plants, grass, yeast, hay and a growing strong bitterness. Aftertaste is herbal, grass, plants and a good strong lasting bitterness. Medium carbo, light watery light spiced mouthfeel, light to medium bodied and a texture between watery and light creamy. Crispy, bitter, refreshing, nice.

Turbia, con espuma consistente, bastante carbónico aunque no demasiado. Muy amarga e inglesa, cítrica y resinosa. Típica inglesa pero con levadura belga. Muy rica.
